Is the price rising or falling? How to read the price-trend chart

Milan, La Scala — the price-trend chart helps you time your booking

What the price-trend chart shows

Every destination page has a week-by-week chart showing how the price on that route has moved over recent weeks — the cheapest week is highlighted separately, together with the lowest and highest price. At a glance, this shows you whether the current price is closer to the low or the high end of that route's usual range.

Past data, not a forecast

The chart shows past weeks — it doesn't predict where the price will go from here. On volatile routes (summer beach destinations during peak season, for example), the price can change significantly within just a few days.

If the price for a given date is in the lower part of the chart's range and the timing works for you, it's usually better to book sooner rather than wait for a further drop.
