Privacy Policy
This notice briefly and clearly summarizes what data fridayjet handles, and why. It is not a comprehensive legal document.
Local storage in your browser
Some of your settings (e.g. your chosen currency, the sort order of lists, and your list of recently viewed destinations) are stored only in your own browser (localStorage/sessionStorage), never reach our servers, and are not accessible from any other device. If you clear your browser's stored data, this information is lost too.
No email sign-up or notifications
We currently do not request or store any email address: there is no price-alert sign-up, no newsletter, and no browser push notifications either. If this changes, we will update this notice.
Booking partners
fridayjet is not a booking platform: after comparing prices, booking links take you to our partners' own websites (airlines, accommodation booking sites). Once there, that provider's own data-handling and cookie policies apply — we have no visibility into these and are not responsible for them.
Traffic measurement (Google Analytics)
The cookie banner at the bottom of the page lets you choose whether to allow Google Analytics. It only loads if you accept, and collects traffic data (e.g. pages viewed, browser type, approximate location) with your IP address anonymized, sent to Google's servers. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Details on Google's data handling: Google Privacy Policy.
Ads (Google AdSense)
If you accept in the cookie banner, the site shows ads served by Google Ads (AdSense). To do this, Google may place cookies in your browser and process data (e.g. pages visited, approximate location) to serve ads. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Details: Google Ads Policy.
What we currently don't use
Other than Google Analytics and Google Ads (which are also only active if you accept them), the site has no other third-party tracking scripts embedded (e.g. Facebook Pixel), no account or login, and — as noted above — no email sign-up or push notifications.
